You see, there aren't any rules, because rules have no basis in reality, and there's no such thing as reality, and people just make rules up to conform with the majority's common sense of civilization and...

Er...Well, I guess there would be the understood rules, right? You know, don't be rude, etc. And use common sense. Use the normal common sense, mind you, not the other kind. I have two types of common sense, and one of them is uncommon, so I don't use that one much. I use the common common sense. So, there ya go. Or something.

Yeah, there are the common rules, but don't use common sense. Because people who use common sense are the same people that thought the world was flat and the moon is made of cheese (sorry, "InvertedRaccoon", didn't mean to disappoint you).

Instead, just be nice to everyone except the treacherous Goombas. If you do that, all will be well. Except "Charybdis". She's okay. And "Me" is okay too, but he's a little militant.

It's very good cheese too. When they brought back moon rocks, they were just bringing luch for their friends. The peanut butter is great. I think Peter Pan gets its peanut butter from the moon.

Maybe Captain Hook really isn't a pirate, but rather a bounty hunter. Maybe he's just trying to catch a serial thief!

Would that make Captain Hook a good guy? And would that, in turn, make Disney bad for villifying a good guy?

Then, what about all the other movies? Maybe Disney really IS brainwashing us!

So anyway.. what's your take on Hook? Unrealized hero or rightfully-admonished villain?

We already know that Peter Pan is a criminal. He cut off Captain Hook's hand and fed it to a crocodile in some sick ritual. He flies about London at night, peeping into bedroom windows and abducting sleeping children. And he keeps the company of a fairy hustler who enjoys pushing "Pixie Dust" on children, telling them it'll get them "flying".

Unrealized hero, of course. I mean, what did Hook ever do that was bad? Challenge a criminal to a duel? Try to take back the stolen children? Pssh. The only side of the story we've ever heard is Peter's, so of course he could paint those in a bad light. But really, there could've been good intentions behind them.
