If Mario and Luigi are related, why do they have different hair colors? That's weird, isn't it? Mario's hair is red, while Luigi's hair is green.

Hmmm... I don't see Luigi is the... punk type. He's always left out of things, so maybe one day he got mad and dyed his hair green when no one was looking.

Luigi has NEVER been a painter, and his hair is brown, it's the angle that the sun is hitting it that makes it appear green.

Perhaps Mario, being without his tools yet still finding clogged pipes in the Mushroom Kingdom, used his brother as a plunger. Surely raw sewage cannot be good for the hair and in its death throws, it changed colors.

Look at the way he his score is tabulated. He is a masochist. He doesn't get points for missing animals and letting them live, he only gains points by their destruction. I say this evil attitude was unleashed upon Luigi.

Actually, if you look at Mario's hair closely, it's kind of a weird brown-green. Maybe Mario and Luigi's parents had two different hair colors: the mother had green hair, and the father had brown. Mario got the mix, and Luigi got the full green.

Although the movie really didn't follow the game story line (and so the comic doesn't follow the movie). But, it might be worth mentioning that in it Luigi was Mario's adopted kid.

If he's adopted, then they look awfully similar in this game. But, I mean, there's a reason it's called "Super Mario Bros." and not "Super Mario and his Adopted Son."

If Link and King Koopa have a green cult, why are the red koopas, not only aparently working for King Koopa, but also smarter than the green ones? If there is such a cult, then maybe Link is sacrificing Princess Zelda, without her knowing it, to King Koopa, at the same time luring Mario to his death, so that Link can move up in the green cult ranking...

Maybe the darker the green the higher the rank. Luigi and King Koopa both have a darker green than Link, and the green koopas apear to be King Koopa's right-hand men, as shown in strips 50-53. But no...then Mario, who has the darkest green of all, would be the leader of them all. He could be just as green as Link, though, just really dirty, being a plumber.

What are you talking about? Link attacked Mario twice. Why doesn't it matter anymore? Why does it matter that Mario never attacked link?

When did anybody say Link did not attack Mario? I recall you [Meken] saying that Bowswer, Link, the green Koopa Troopas, the 1up mushroom, and Luigi were all eaten, hurt, or killed by Mario. When I posed the question of when did Mario hurt, kill, or eat Link, the response was given by InvertedRaccoon that Link was hurt emotionally, which you agreed with. That settled the issue with me as well, though I said nothing on that and moved on to something else. I said quite clearly within my most recent post that the point was not that Link never attacked Mario, because I think we've established that he did in fact stab Mario twice, but the point was that Mario never attacked Link. That point, as I said earlier, has already been disproven, and that is why I said it did not matter. Again, it hasn't been since July 19 that I have said that it mattered that Mario attacked Link.

I clearly said that we've gotten to a point where it does not matter anymore. In answer to your other question, I brought it up because Me said that Link did attack Mario, and then I corrected him on the meaning of the other posts, or at least tried to. And, once again, it was brought up in the first place because you said that Link had been attacked by Mario, then you said that you meant to say that he did it emotionally. Now you say that he wasn't, but that's besides the point. My bet is that Me brought it up again because he either misread or misunderstood the earlier posts, which seems to be happening a lot here. I want to move on just as much as you, Meken, but this keeps coming up. I hope this clears up any other issues.

Now. . . moving on. . . if the Unified Wearers of Green that All Hate Mario are being payed by Wario, but not enough, there must be someone organizing the Union. My bet is that it is Green Koopas, because they could probably appeal more to the Koopa masses than, say, Luigi.

Okay, I sware I just saw geen on the end of his staff. Where did it go? I looked away and looked at the picture and the green was gone. I'm not crazy, okay? I sware I saw some. And anyway, does the master really have to wear the color of his slaves? If he did, he'd be treated the same way as them. And he is a wizard guy. He looks like a good leader.

Well, the picture I had, which was the first one when I did a google image search of "kamek," showed clearly that there was green in the tip of his staff, but it was a tiny thumbnail. That doesn't really make a difference. The point is that kamek does seem to be using his power to get the people to join his union for people who hate Mario and wear green and aren't being payed enough by Wario because he's a cheap bastard.

Why couldn't Luigi himself be the leader? After all, he has the most to gain, namely his own spotlight. Do you have any idea how well Luigi's career would take off if Mario were out of the picture? Think about it...

Luigi's not powerful enough. He needs other people to do it. Just look at it; Mario and Luigi are equally powerful with the same moves, powers, and jumps. Who do you think would win? The one who's been in tons of more games, or the one who's been left out of things and has no experience?

What if Luigi was offered to be in these same games, but he declined because it would interfere with his dark plot against his brother? Perhaps he hates his brother so much (as brothers sometimes do), that he'd rather devote his time and energy to plotting and recruiting rather than playing silly games? Hmm?

Ah, but why does he hate his brother? It's because he [Mario] was in all those games instead of him [Luigi.] So he can't not be in those games because he hates Mario and wants to devote more time to hating and plotting against him.

Maybe it's a recent development? Perhaps Luigi owns a chemical processing plant (he got some chemical slime in his hair, that's why it's green), and Mario's crusade to save the environment (a la Sunshine) is ruining the profits he will now have to spent reprocessing and properly disposing of the waste chemicals he used to dump in the river.

If it was indeed chemical slime that turned Luigi's hair green (which of course would answer the original post) then would he keep on producing chemicals? If something ruined my hair I'd be pissed at it. We've lost the whole union thing. That's why Luigi and Bowser and Link and the Green Koopas are/wear green. We can no longer assume new reasons for why Luigi's hair is green. So the question at hand now is why does Luigi hate Mario so much that he would plot and scheme against him?

Or, he could have been getting his hair done, while a nameless person to his left was getting their hair done too! But with it being dyed also.

The hairstylist came by, and tripped on the broom to clean up the hair after it has been cut off somebodies head.

And all of the hair dye fell onto Luigi's head, dying his hair green?

He tried to use his had to cover it, but to no avail. So he changed his outfit to green sleeves so it would match his hair.

Once his hair grew out of the dyed-ness, he would change back into his normal clothes.

But by theen, he had gotten used to his clothes, and had taken a fancy to them. He decided to wear green and blue, and persuaded his brother, Mario, into doing it too.


As you see, they have changed outfits and hair after Super Mario Bros.
