Lately theres's been plenty of remembering the past..So do you all remember Super Mario Bros. The Movie? I wish it actually had the sequel as it was intended...What do you think?

Yeah, the movie was okay, it really was farfetched from the game...

....ALOT!

I really liked that movie even though it didn't have much to do with the game. I was looking forward to a sequel but unfortunately there hasn't been one yet. Maybe it will be like The Land Before Time and they make a sequel 20 years later, then 10 more within the next 2 years.

I saw that movie in the theatre, and I don't remember a damn thing about it, except it looked nothing like the game and the ending.

(To the Land Before Time comment) Hehehe, yeah, that really weirded me out, I remember watching the first movie...

Also, the koopas were dinosaurs in the movie and turtles in the video game. Luigi was Mario's son. There's lots of little things too but that and Daisy were the big changes (that I can remember).

Land Before Time 2 - 500:
That was really weird, it's like someone suddenly found a bunch of movies laying around "Oh, we forgot to release these."

Maybe it was one REALLY long movie, but they split it up, forgetting about them?

Then they found them, and those greedy ones brought them all out at once!!!

I think it's more likely some studio chief went...

"Hmm... All the kids movies we make lately suck... But we have the rights to make sequels to these really good ones with reputation, like The Land Before Time... I know! Let's send some drawings of characters to one of those crazy, cheap animation studios in Mexico and tell them to make a bunch of random sequels so we can make some quick money before entirely ruining the franchise name!"

Yeah, I think that's how it went. And so we have like 10-something LBT movies now.
