Buzzy beetles walk off cliffs too. Red koopa troopas cannot only fly, but don't fly off cliffs. They also don't have to touch the ground.

When did a red koopa with wings ever jump off into a hole? They aren't even effected by gravity until their wings are knocked off (stomped on). And buzzy beetles still walk off ledges too.

I would say buzzy beetle though because if there isn't a hole, then it's fire proof. BUT, if there is a hole, then a red parakoopa troopa would be better. Even if stomped, the odds of it landing on a platform below are pretty good.

I vote Koopas because they are cooler but Wolfenhex has a point, Buzzy Beetles are mainly indestructable...unless you have to BBs in a closed area, and you hop on them at the same time so the wall-bounce(I'm so good at that)

There were also Buzzies in world 4-3 in SMB3.

Well actually now that I think about it they were in 1-6 as well. But you know why they aren't in later games? because the koopas got in their shells and had other koopas fie them at the buzzy beetles!!! Driving them near extinction!!!

Depends on what game you mean, It's 1-5 though(hint:weeeeeeee), and I'm now exactly 100 posts behind Shadic

I think it would depend on what region the koopa is from. Notice that the koopas in dinosaur land can walk on two feet. This means that they could simply pick up the buzzy beetle and chuck it off a cliff. Other koopas can also kick their shells.

The time has come... Onward to victory!

Well,that explains why I don't remember seeing them in rescent games! I never played SMB3.I am ashamed!
