Despite my loyalty to the zelda games, i find that he is not my favorite character anymore. he used to be, but then i discovered Nightmare.....oh the fun. I still use Link every once in a while in weapon master mode because of his really cheap throw that can send you out of the ring, but i try to use Nightmare or even Talim(she's easy to pull combos with).

So....yeah. Even if you don't have the GCN version, you can still talk about your fav char, pet peeve of the game, whatever. I think i made this too long, but too bad, so sad.

Link rules, but I know a friend who prefers using Necrid. He heard he possess some kind of ball that changes into a weapon. I heard the weapon could be a huge axe. And also, Necrid is said to be the one who kicks things out of the ring the fastest (my friend did 1 attack, and the opponent was out already).

My loyalty to Nintendo is gone. Altought I have the NES And SNES(Two best systems in the world) I now own a PS 2 so I don't really care if in the Game Cube version, Link(not the one we grew up with) is in it or not.

Any PS games can be found on XBox, and some on GCN, but Gamecube has the best games!(Except Marvel vs Capcom 2...that's what XBox is for though)

Talon, I think (my opinion I'm not saying yours isn't valid) Nintendo has sold out. I'm not saying that SONY is king of the gaming world. Nintendo will always be that but! The N64 was the last straw that's what I said. Then I went out and bought a GCN since I'm soft. I bought Super Smash Bros. Meelee played it with my friends then got bored after a week. The games on the GCN have dispointed so much I bought I PS2...

Sounds fair, but I'm just saying that if you are gonna say 'Hey Nintendo, you suck!' then go buy an XBox, not a PS2. And Nintendo has some pretty good games for GCN(now, but not then)

I'm still buying the worthwile GCN games, they are slowly rekindling my interest in their platforms. I mean Final Fantasy is going to be awesome. Games like that you can't just pass off you know. I don't hate Nintendo I just don't like them as much as I used to. Oh but I do hate Pokemon and Nintendo Power

Yes I know, the only thing about Playstation is Megaman and Final Fantasy...sigh. Dammit there goes my arguement! XBox has a hard drive, you can't pass that up either you know. When I become rich(it's hard at the age of 13 you know) I'm gonna get PS2 only for FF and MM. And I'm gonna get GCN too, for I will always be loyal to Nintendo.

Megaman is #3 in alltime greats behind Mario and Link. He and his gamnes are awesome. I think Final Fantasy has been sowewhat on the declin but its still the best you can get in RPG's.

I have a liking to Dragon Warrior too but that's irrelevant. My favourites would be Megaman being the best! Then Zelda(Adventure of Link!) then Mario. Marvel vs Capcom 2 falls under the MM category.

Mine would be Mario, Zelda, MM, FF and Chrono Trigger for the sole reason that its the best RPG ever( even when compared to FF3/6) but the FF series beats it overall.

...Maybe 'cause not enough people bought one, so it was kinda pointless to release more games than they did? There are some good ones among the 200 or so they did release, though, and their online servers for a few games are still up. XBOX didn't go anywhere until the last few months, when it started getting more popular. Dreamcast is on about the same level as Gamecube, which is part of the reason why Dreamcast games are being rereleased for GC...

I, personally, think Chrono Trigger is the greatest RPG of all time. Now, that's not to say that FF6 isn't GREAT, because, quite frankly, it beats the pants off of all the new FF games. Story line and character development combined with one of the greatest replay values of all time.... ::sigh:: Where have all the good times gone?

So.... Either way I would like to see both of them remade for the PS2 with the new graphics that they are with FF7. That would just totally rock.

Oh, and I have all 3 systems, and I say it's not fair to say one is better than another. Yes, some have better specs, or what not, but they all have their unique quirks that make them stand alone. No offense to GC, but the FF game that's coming out (Crystal Chronicles) is really looking poor. I will give it a chance, though. Heh.

Anyway, I think I've typed enough to keep some of you all busy.... Heh.

Go FF6! I mean, SNES. I mean, go me, and Setzer too! YAY! ..And by the way. I agree with whoever just said that it's not fair to say that one system is better than the other (..Sorry I can't remember who said it, >.>) Anyway..I have all 3 of the "next-gen" systems, and I think they're all pretty good. The games AREN'T all the same, however. And I hope GC comes out with some nice RPGs, because so far..GC is pretty lacking in most genre's of games if you ask me. Anyway, I'm done ranting.

My GBC withstood a drop onto concrete. although my blue version didn't. I had played it for 100+ hours!!! Never used the Missingno. glitch. I had beaten the elite foru enough times to buy a porygon(which I did) 116 types of pokemon captured!!! lvl. 82 blastoise!!!! All gone!!! ;(
