does anyone know where i could find some good nes emus?

Make a Google search engine for Nesticle. Nesticle is one of the best emulators out there. Also, JNes is good.

Well, you CAN fiddle with the controls. I normally use leftshift and Z for A and B (possibly not in that order...haven't played in a while) and enter for start.

I enjoy SNES9X. It's pretty easy to find.. I think I got it from emulation.net.

NESten - It's unbelievably fast even when the image is maximized, stretched, and smoothened.

I have a 500Mhz computer and with Winamp, AOL, KaZaA Lite, and other things running, it's still amazing.

I love how Nester and NESticle are in the Good category and NESten along with Nestopia and even RockNES are in the Best. Maybe the rest of you should try an upgrade, both those emulators are slow and bulky. I still recommend NESten, but those other 2 are very nice too (RockNES even does NetPlay).

NESticle is funny, me and talon were talking about it in class, as well as SNESticle,and GENsticle, for the genesis, then I just thought of
GENitals for the genesis. me and talon thought it was pretty funny. zsnes is a good emulator for the snes.

All I know about emulators is that I use jnes for the NES and zsnes for super nintendo...they work for me. My problem is that I can't fight worth a flip!

A red one, the Stalfos are too easy. I forget if there are blue ones, but do the red ones shoot something? I havn't played AoL in a whole month, shame on me.

Well, what Shadic said about Parrying a Knight in AoL, that can be fun. What I did, was level up every stat except attack, I had like 5 life, 3 magic and 1 attack, I went into a palace with 2nd Level knights, cast shield and screwed around for an hour parrying and attacking, cast jump too.

The blue kind of knights are simply... nasty. I hate them so much, because you have to dodge their attacks while making some wild stabs with your sword. And there is one mounted on a horse too, but the horse is really easy. I like to kill those otorocks. I mean, they're so easy to kill! Even the blue ones! The only thing I hate with them is when they start to speed up. They ram into you, then you can't throw your swords because you lost 1/2 heart from your life bar. For those who likes challenges, try beating quest #2. It took some time for me to beat it, but I found all the dungeons (7 was really hard to find). I hope you're all going to enjoy playing those old games.

I love all the old Zelda games, but the best one of all is by far A Link to The Past. Loved it but never did beat it and I play more of the newer games but still Zelda will be forever as it's a great game that gives you hours of game play and puzzles to beat.

There was one area(I think only one) in AoL where there are TWO knights that fight you at the same time, in a smallish area. It's so hard to beat them, that's what shield is for though. Fairy through doors, anyone do that?

I hate fighting shadow link, he was such a pain in the ass, it took me quite a while to beat him, but when I did, I was happy. ahh, the good old days, all of the Zelda games rock, especially the old ones.

Shadow Link... I never reached Shadow Link and Thunderbird, but I reached the Great Palace once.
Blue knights are still nasty... their beams are nasty. They're all nasty whatever they do.

Really? I have NESten and it works very nicely. Of course, The real thing works best. Most of my friends have a nintendo, heck I have one. But I do have an emu for games I dont have.
