I love Age of Mythology. And yes I added this new category just so I can make a post about it.

Anyone else play?

I've never played AoM, just AoW and AoE
Go Protoman, and Link, and Zero, and Roll, and Shadic(who likes AOL)!

I don't like Aoe2, buildings have too many hits and graphics are wierd, though I've only played it once for about 2 hours so I should play more to like it.

Bah, I'd buy that game to play with yeh, Wolfenhex.

Yeah, I love Age of Empires (One!)

That game introducted me to RTS games, so will always be top in my book.
I smile because I have no idea what's going on. :D

Age of Mythology was made by Ensemble Studios, who also made the Age of Empires series. The other Age of... games were made by other companies. AoM is great compared to AoE. It's a full 3D world and has lots of cool units from mythology like dragons, trolls, giants, sphinxes, phoenixes, minotaurs, centaurs, and in the expansion pack you get Titans (which are basically giant giants that destroy cities all by themselves). Also unlike AoE, each civilization's units are different instead of having 80% of the world with the same "Archer" unit.

Lots of fun. Highly recommended to anyone!

You can get the demos here:
Age of Mythology Demo
Titans Expansion Demo

Note: Microsoft didn't make the game, they just distribute it.

And yes, I'm obsessed.

AoM suddenly sounds awesome! Screw those cheap games of AoE where people buy 500 Horse Archers!

I'm an AoE fan too. If AoM never came out, I'd be playing AoE2 instead.

AoM also has weaker walls (so no people turtling behind 10 lays of walls that take forever for your trebuchets to break through - not hard, just tedious).

I'm gonna shut up now, here's some pictures:

Badass. I figure the game will be cool once I play it.

The game is an RTS, so if you never played one, I'd suggest downloading the demo first.

Prices from CompUSA (probably around the same at other stores):
Game(Win) = $30
Expansion Pack(Win) = $30 (requires the game)
Game(Mac) = $50 (can't play against Windows users though)

Windows:
System Requirements
Unsusported Graphic Cards

Macintosh:

Also, I love RTS games! Like Age of Empires and Starcraft!

I'm gonna make a topic about starcraft!!!

Yah AoE(No I'm not gonna ramble on about it like Ice Shards did with SoM), what does RTS stand for? I know what it is now. But not what it stands for......
