The chat is a beta version (which is why there was never an "official" link to it). It needs some more work before it can be opened again, because it had some problems and was causing even more with the server.

I kid, I'm just saying that the chat would be a very nice and valuable asset here. So far things are really going great, and I already really like the setup of the forums. I'm liking what I'm seeing, good job. ^^

I just put an emphasis on the chat because it makes way for a more flowing conversation, opposed to the slow pace of a message board. It also helps people show their personality a little better.

...yeah I'm weird.

P.S. Do you see a spell checker in the works, or is that too much work to even bother with? If not I'll just keep Word Perfect open, then, so that I still sound like I know what I'm talking about. Otherwise, people will realize that I can't spell 50% of the English language. I take pride in my charade. =P

We were thinking of having a spell checker, actually, but we haven't come up with a good way to do it yet.

To make one from the ground up would appear to be tedious and exausting. If you'd have to do it that way, I'd rather just deal with my horrible spelling than make you guys have to deal with all that.

If I could help, I would, but I know squat about html, and how to implement something like that into a forum.

Just a suggestion, no sweat if you can't. If it'd take too much effort, than it'd probably be best used in something else.

Oh, are you going to make it so that you can go back to the forum you were just viewing, and not have to always return to the Forum Index?
