When you look in one of your posts, you see you're a "goomba," "red koopa," etc. But...when you look in your profile, it says that you're "bricks." Strange... :-S

It's been like that for a while, we were just all goombas in the past.

Anywho, (I barely ever replace that with Anyways) When I first joined, there were no ranking... And, I wasn't anywhere near the first person to join!

And then, there is Wolfenhex and Charybdis... Did they ever lower themselves to become a lowly little goomba that runs off edges? I think not! Heck, they don't even lower themselves to be the cooler enemies, such as the bullet bill!!!

Shadic is correct.. before there were Rankings, there was just the Top Three Posters list. Guess who was on top?

At first, is was Me!. No, not me... "Me!". But that soon changed as I resorted to posting low-quality spam posts. Indeed, I surfaced as the Top Poster, and held the title for quite some time, mostly by replying pointlessly to those that replied pointlessly to my pointless posts.

Of course, now I am paying for my indescretion in maintaining quality posts, for I merely have the title of Lakitu, as of this writing. But yes, some of were never Goombas, nor Bricks.

As I said in another thread, Titles are cool, for a number of reasons. Those of us that have high titles rather enjoy them, and those that don't.. keep trying! We will be waiting for you here at the top!

I am once again lesser. I will make my way up! I will rejoin the top 10, and perhaps make the best poster again, though knowing me(as in I) that might not happen, and for everyone's enjoyment, I encourage you all to try too, but don't over do it.

Ice Shards is HIGHER than both of us, but just barely. How could he accomplish that? That means only one thing, we REALLY REALLY suck. I am now royally pissed, but nothing I(as in me) can do about it, not directly anyways. I'm just gonna have to try harder to get my point across, but I've said that in about 5 topics, so this is not helping.

Maybe ice shards is just a better poster, and a better person as a whole? There's nothing wrong with being a spammer, as long as you spam good-quality posts, much like myself.

Shadic, I am impressed. I hope that you will soon join us in the ranks of the higher-ups, where you rightfully belong. However, the difference with me is that I, unlike several here, do not have so many posts, so that the good-quality posts bring my overall ranking higher more quickly than some of the others, like our good friend Talon.

Then again, I suppose the quality of posts really depends on what it is that you are saying, rather than how long your post is. How can a computer truly judge the quality of a post? Well, in this case, let us just say that Wolfenhex, in all his wisdom, has devised a script that does just that.

Shall we all be afraid of Wolfenhex? I would say no. However, I feel that a certain level of respect should be paid to the Great Hex, regardless of his position on the rankings... He is the Creator, and we therefore owe our very lives and souls to his greatness.

Or.. not. Who knows? I'm just babbling because I think that by doing so, it'll take you longer to read this post. Are you still reading? Why? I would answer that for you, but I don't think that Dustminion would have included it as a quiz question, therefore it is not worthy of my attention.

It would be entirely up to our beloved creators, Wolfenhex and Charybdis, what ranks would be in the order of precedence above Hammer Brother. I shall endeavor to continue producing high-quality posts, so that I may one day reside on the top of the list, with whatever rank may be there.

To date, I have not seen a higher rank. But that does not mean that such rank does not exist. Upward, we stride, so that the limits exceed even the bluest of skies.

That would probably be helpful. Remember: Wolfenhex is one smart cookie. His scripts are hard to fool once he get sthe bugs out!

Concentrate on writing good quality posts.. don't worry about number of letters or anything, because if you post well, the ranks will come naturally.

Ahah! It would be wize to listen to the words of Sabin!

I am quite dissappointed in my rank, and yet, I spent much devotion to bring it higher.

Soon, I shall be able to join the gods, or simple the higher ranked, as Sabin says!

I truely am capable of getting there, but alas, finding such time to write complicated, lengthy, and altogether, worthful posts can be quite... Troublesome!

Fear the powerfull coding of the god Wolfenhex! Such an excellent decision, along with a wonderfull upbring, has changed the way that we look at this forum! None shall decieve that all powerful Wolfenhex!!!

I have found, that my biggest problem is the large amount of posts that I contain! All of these make it very hard to bring my total up to something acceptable to one of my rank!!! (As in rank, I mean, how long I have been here!)

I have debated in my mind, wether to make another title of mine (Title, as in, Message board account) to bring myself where I rightfully belong! But, alas, that would be cheating, and one of my status shall not do that!!

Now, I make sure that all of my posts are lengthy, detailed, along with being somewhat intelligant! Why? Because these are the marks of a true forum member! This is not a chatroom, as some believe it to be, this is a Forum, where all of your posts should be just as detailed and percise as a letter!

Just think of it, this is a place where you type up a letter, and put it on a board for all to see! Others may reply, giving their full thought as well! If one person came by, wrote many, many short little letters and posted them everywhere, nobody would respect that person! They would think of him as annoying, and shoo him away!

I shall not be one of those people! Alas, I do make many a many of these "letters" But, I am making them quite lengthy, with details, along will my full thoughts of a certain subject!

Now, I must go, and preach my thoughts of this board to others, and let this dream world be known! Farewell, Sabin and Dustminion! I shall return after a brief amount of time! Ta-ta!!!

Good for you Shadic and Sabin,for that was truely inspiring!
I can only hope that one day I shall evolve into a supiror(sp?)being than that of a lowly pink fish.And perhaps,perhaps, one day I shall become a true supiror level(or saiyan as my friend would say.) as I once thought myself(not here though.)
But I believe to do such a thing I must first come to face with this problem I once had of posting short posts.(Or as my friend would say: You cannot defeat your opponent until you can defeat yourself.)
But one day I shall think of a post of high quality and maybe once again raise to the challenge of becoming one of the top ten posters.
But for now I will stay but a lowly fish.

Alas, one day you make finally reach the land of the great ones! For now, we must wish to return to our former land, where this new way of ordering has thrown us out. This is not to say that we will never reach our former glory, just that for some of us (Such as I, Shadic) It will much very very difficult.

The first ranking, help by our friend, The Hobbit (He is a hobbit, as is name says, very decieving!!!) Has over 100 words for each post of his, where-as, I am floating around 25. This is not a good thing for me, as the large amount of posts, of which I originally loved, is now coming to haunt me! Oh, how I dread making short and non-needed posts! It was almost as if I was spamming! What a shame!!

As for you, Link's Lost Sword (How awesome would that be to be a weapon of slicing a dicing? Well, a little on the gruesome side if you ask me... Now, how dangerous exactly IS Link's Lost Sword?) Ahem, As for you, your trip to achieve your former glory shall not be so difficult! As your posting, is minicule. (As in, not that big as compared to mine)

*Frowns* Getting back my rank of #1 will be quite... Impossible it seems at this point! But, that did not stop the people in "Mission Impossible, and Mission Impossible 2!" So, this attempt to once again reign power upon this forum, along with my former glory... Would be called "Struggle Impossible" but, that lacks a catchy title, so it shall remain nameless for now! But beaware, as I may, perhaps one day, find a catchy title for that! (Sadly, at that point, I'll probably have gotten back to a fairly high position in this forum)

Now, off to find other threads, and post my lengthy opinions on them, helping ME! (As in, Shadic, not that "Me" who loves them Goombas) In the long run! It may also help all of you others who heed my advice, even though my current ranking is quite low! Do not fear however! As each lecture (Could they even be called one) Is raising my rank! What good does that do you you, you make ask... All I can say is that it may allow your "Puny pea brain mind.." Err... That was from a flash animation called All your Pie. (It is not a parody of all your base, despite the title of which clearly it shares the first two words of... Although, there is a short little thing mocking it at the end, but that is not at all important to the movie, or this topic...)

All I can say is that it will allow your mind to listen to me, as my title will be higher, so you will not have to look at me as a failure!

Say what you want to say, but try to be mindful of your eloquence, so that it may be recognized by the daemons that the Creator has.. um.. created. Everyone here can be a Hammer Brother, if it is their wish.

Yes, everyone. Even he who is currently the postingest member of the Link and Friends Forum, being Talon (as of this posting), has the capability to bring his average post quality up to the par set by myself and TheHobbit. To do so would show the utmost dedication, and would garner my respect.

Of course, I have a respect for TheHobbit as well, although he has but a fraction of my post count. Perhaps one day, as TheHobbit slips in quality, I may reclaim that throne...
