ZZT ROCKS! It's a thing that lets you make simple games. Not real good graphics because they are all pre-made. They are simple. It's cool to make your own items or monsters etc. it can get addicting. Your character is always a smiley but you can set it as something else. It may be very basic but it is cool. You should try it.

...damn it all! That's awesome! Now this ZZT, does it make Platforming, RPG, Strategy, Realtime(Stuff like AoE, Warcraft etc) what?

...Well no, not really. All the graphics are based of computer characters, and you shoot little o's at other characters that are enemies. It's action-style, and a pain to script in. Not all THAT great...

However, there is an excellent RPG engine at http://hamsterrepublic.com called the O.H.R.R.P.G.C.E. It's simple to use but can make some pretty awesome games, and has quite a few sites dedicated to it, most notably http://www.castleparadox.com ...So, um, go get the OHR now or I'll kill ye all!
