I figured since we imput Avatars into almost every topic out there, I would make a topic for them right here in the spam section. Now, who likes my new Avatar?

I like your new avatar,Talon. I could never do a animated anything it takes me too long and then I just give up on it and go draw something instead.

Yes, well not all GOOD avatars have to be animated do they? Didn't think so...yours IS good, I like the effect of the colour lines, or maybe you didn't do that I don't know, but it's good.

I'm not sure as I deleted it after it din't work but I think it was.IT was nothing special though just a animited avatar of Yoshi dancing.

That sounds pretty good, but I think it supports GIF more then PNG. Cause it doesn't let me put up many avatar's in PNG.

Where did you get the piranha's sprites Dustminion?

It's pertty simple. Go to http://asmb3w.al-tendo.com/smb3.html. Then go to the navigation bar, and click on enemies. Click on the enemy you want, and it will take you to the info about it, and it will showcase one sprite. Save that sprite. Go to tsgk.captainn.net to find some Super Mario All-Stars sprites. Go to the navigation bar there, and click on SNES. Then scroll down the list, and click on Super Mario All-Stars. There will be a row of sprite sheets. Scroll down to see the SMB3 All-Stars sprites. Save them. Then open up 3 windows of MS Paint. One for the All-Stars sprites. One for the sprite you got from that site I told you about on the top. And one for the conversinon from 16-bit to 8-bit. Oh, forgot to tell you that you have to convert them, eh? Well, copy the sprites from All-Stars window. Paste then in the conversion window. The copy the sprite you saved from the site mentioned on the top, and paste it in the conversion window. Then use the color scheme of the 8-bit one, and replace the 16-bit one with the 8-bit color scheme. Don't understand this? I'll make a "How To Get 8-Bit SMB3 Sprites" page on my website.

Doesn't sound it but the avitar is great. I like dark avitars and I'm done with mageman avitars for a while I'm sticking to Inuyasha for now. By the way who has a better avitar me of Talon (I know this ones all messed up but I'll fix it.)

Well, it was originally NOT JPG, but the avatar itself was too large and had to be shortened. I dunno why it got converted to JPG. I'm making a SMB3 sprite comic called Magic Leaf. And my author sprite in the comic will be the venus fire trap in my avatar. Notice the red pipe says 666. Heh. Anyway, yeah I am getting close to 1337 posts. But soon I will delete that other topic I made due to the flaming directed at me.

Anyway, wish me luck on the comic!

I only use my site for random comics. If I only had a better site, I would showcase my comic series and link it to my Freewebs site. I can only have a limited amount of paragraphs also. And I can't seem to work my site at my house. Mainly because it's Windows 98. :(

By the way, what is the program that you use to make Gifs called, Talon? Is it downloadable? If it's not, does anyone know a program that can save gifs at a higher colour range then MS Paint? I'm trying to make an avatar, but MS Paint ruins my pictures... Any help would be much appriciated!

Meh, it's cool.

We use UnFREEz for animating GIFs, but some other program for making them GIF. I use VuePrint, as does Drék, I dunno about the rest of you.

As for Avatars, anyone like me *ahem* Valentines Day one?

Why don't you use Photo Editor? Just save them as gifs...

This is a question for Drék: Where can you download VuePrint (the program that Drék and Talon use to create the gifs for their avatars)? I have many pictures that are waiting to be animated!

Hotmail is better but you're a bit restricted to the attachments...

My computer doesn't let me sign in to my hotmail but yahoo it does plus you can send up to 10mb of attachment space.
