Can someone maybe help me?I got glasses today and it got me all dizzy when I turn my eyes to see in another direction?Help,please?

Well I have glasses on all the time so I should now that if your new with them then it takes a while to get use to them. Cause the glass is going to make lights be mixed up and much more but for the dizzy part you might want to be careful were you look for a bit.

I heard that wearing glasses is bad for viewing because it speeds up their age or something...

It speeds up the aging and deterioration of your eyes, or something like it.. thats why every time you get your eyes checked, you keep having to get a stronger perscription till eventually your blind as a bat with a nursemaid walking you into walls for jokes...

Not true sometimes the less you were them when you are supposed to the weaker your eyes get. The glasses slow that cycle down or something. Ask an Optromitist I'm no glasses doctor.

I'm near-sighted myself. I only use my glasses for reading from at least 10 feet away. If I wear them reading, using the computer, playing GameBoy or doing school/homework, my eyes hurt REALLY badly.

I'm glad I'm healthy!

My percription is getting weaker as my eyes are becoming stronger and soon I'll get contacts. Probally cat eyes like my own cat cause I play with him and it freak him out.

It doesn't always have to do with health,Sakura. Sometimes genictics cause the need for glasses. Or reading or something in the wrong lighting.

But having glasses can add to your style also which is cool cause my grandma piad big bucks for my new glasses and I plan on getting blue shaded lensses next time.

Mine make me look...improper, but my eyesight HAS gotten little better, though Dad's Girlfriend begs to differ(I hate her). I might get contacts too, but I'm not sure when, they make screw up my vision when doing close-up things.

You know I'm glad my parents are still together and aren't divorced. Cause if I had to deal with the shit Talon does I would have kill someone a long time ago. Just say if my dad did divorce my mom and he had a girl friend or if I had a Step Mother this whole intire house would be the battle zone of World War 3.First thing I would do is kill the girl friend of my dads or so called step mother. And then maybe my dad for divorcing my mom. And then maybe myself since I might not make a day (doubtedly) without the cops catching me and throwing me in jail for murder.

Ok that was a bit depressing.
I've been through two divorces cuz both of my moms husbands were complete ass holes.

I have to wear these really thick glasses when I'm not wearing my contacts(which is only when my eyes hurt or before I go to bed) I have these awsome green contacts that LOOK like they glow in the dark. I want cat eye contacts too. All I would need are slit puples in my contacts now. Thats the green that they are.

Sakura if you knew him you'd kill him to. He makes me clean up chemical waste and clean floors that take hours to clean. Then there's the dangerous job of depressurisng the hoses so that if you do take the hose you won't go flying into a piece of razor sharp steel that can cut you into two. So yes I beliave he should die but I won't kill any body but I did quit my job today.
