Anyone here found ways to get rid of pop-ups without a pop-up killer (the pop-ups comes from a pop-up killer company website... ><)?

I just found out something good about having AOL!

You can turn on the Pop-ups control and block pop ups. It tells you how many it blocking and I haven't seen a one since I turned it on.

I have the same thing Drék. I've blocked 833 Pop-ups total and so far nothing has Popped-up. On LaF I see no Pop-Ups so I keep it off though.

Most browsers (but MSIE) have a pop-up blocker built into it. If you're using MSIE, get the Google tool bar. It's great for blocking pop-ups, plus gives you some other nice tools (such as searching for a specific word on a web page).

LAF will never had pop-up ads. Worse think we'll ever have are banners.

1206 pop-ups blocked so far for me (would have more, but I had to reinstall it).

Um Hex, I get at least 10 pop ups when I'm on LAF, its just gotten so routene to just close them out anymore that I don't notice them anymore. I instaled a pop up blocker, but its not working anymore...I think I need to reinstall it.

By the way..I really like your new avatar!:)

They aren't from us at all (not even our host or anything like that). You probably have a piece of spy/adware on your browser that you don't know about that's causing pop-ups to happen. That is the only way for you to get a pop-up from this web site unless we add them (which we aren't going to).

agh. My tool bar doesn't have a pop-up block, but most sites I go to have no pop-ups.(or 1 or 2.)
But I still would like one for those pop-up attacks. Heck, I dunno why they even bother, I mean, If you have a ton blocking up your screen, I doubt anyone is gonna be interested in their crap. AND WATCH OUT FOR GATOR!!!! most evil pop-up company ever. I especially hate the fake-chat pop-ups and the ones that have an adress bar inside of the normal one, making you accidentally click on the peice of... ...crap.

I found a program that killed all the spyware. Only a single pop-up remain.
