I'm not fond of this ranking system.

It's ridiculously easy to exploit, and discourages people from posting if they only have a short message to display.

Incase some people haven't figured it out yet, your ranking is based on the ratio of words to posts(or letters to post, I didn't test that vairable yet).

And I'm guessing Buzzy Beetle is the highest rank.

No, Buzzy Beetle is not the highest rank. Log on and click on Member List. Click on Title. You'll see who's the highest(who is Sabin). And yeah, I'm guessing typing very long posts that don't add to the discussion is abusing the system, right?

What's "wrong" with me is that almost every day, I see at least THREE topics with you as the last replier to those topics. And almost every day, you make 30 posts in almost 2 hours. And some (most) of those posts consist of only one line of words. It's like posting here is your drug. I mean, you have better things to do with your time. Like, do your homework, paint a picture, watch TV, etc. All your freetime is posting here.

BOTTOM LINE: Put more time in your posts or don't post at all.

Okay, I am drawing in my Sketch Book a lot these days, TV is a waste of time, and I barely ever go on LAF anymore, not to mention I don't exactly have a novel to post in every topic like Sabin does, I prefer to stay up-to-date, not wait a month so I can reply to 20 things at once and gain 5 ranks(No offense Sabin). My homework is either done or unimportant everyday before I use the computer so LAY OFF!

I don't. I rather have Talon post a lot then this board be dead. And I've never thought of him as saying too many pointless things, he just posts a lot, that's all. Sometimes you need to make a reply, but it's just a short one. There's nothing wrong with that.

And anyone who says "you have too much time on your hands" or "get a life" or "there are better things to do" seriously needs to shut up. You don't know what's going on over on the other side of where that message is. And who are YOU to dictate what's good and bad to do with your time?

I think Talon's posts, even when he did post 200 a week, were all interesting and wern't useless. I meen, remember a few of the posts that were totally useless, like the "I got to go" thread? Talon would never do that. And who cares if he is on a lot?! I'm glad someone is on as much as me.(3 to 4 times a day to be exact) Dose that meen I don't have a life? I do plunty of other things. I just like to hang around here with friends.

I bet Talon can do things that we cannot do... I'm always on the computer as well, probably coming here 1 or 2 times a day... I see my friends on the internet or they come over to my house or I go to their houses...

Link's Lost Sword, there's no reason you should be afraid to defend a friend. Keep going all you want, because I know I am. And if they want to say stupid crap about you after you defend you're friend, I myself and many others are here to defend you.

Yes, well I just want to keep up with what's current so I post a lot. The only thing is I want to stay on the first page of ranking so that's becoming a slight problem, I'm often 26(25 per page).
