That's right, my birthday is coming up! In 11 days, February 2, I will turn 17. I'm happy beacuse in another year I will be 18, an adult (or is it 19?). I'll be here that day too (in 11 days), so you can tell me happy birthday then if you want, or you can say it now. *shrug* I'm not telling people what to do.

I'm going to put another thing here so I dont have to make another topic about it. I have a Sprite Comic up now! It's about MegaMan/X (means MegaMan AND MegaManX chars). It's hosted as a subcomic to another place, you can find the comic that's hosting my comic on my comic's page. Its linked somewhere. Here's the link to my comic:

I know, my comic pretty much sucks (It's called Random Thoughts) because I am a novice spriter and I can't sprite well.

BUT! I would very much appreciate ANY hints or advice any of you have for me to help with my comic. If you want to tell me anything that's wrong with my comic, tell me. I want to know any major flaws that it contains.

BTW, the "A" button below the comic picture leads to the Archives and the "M" button beside it allows you to email me. I'm having a Guest Week in 2 weeks. If you want to be in it, email me your sprite sheet with your edited sprites and the name you want me to call him/her.

Heh, I have no idea where you could have heard it from, but anyway. Comic 3 I know is messed up, I should have given X and Zero jumping sprites when they were flung into the air.

Comic 5, which runs tomorrow morning, is an 8-panel. Big change, don't think they won't get their adventure, cause they might.

Sakura, thanks, so that's 2 people (someone in an mIRC channel I visit a lot for Bob and George wanted to be in it and I recieved the sprite sheet for it, it was just a few changes and recolors.

I think Orange is a nice recolor for Xero though, all I need to do is remake my sword to purple if I ever use it ("The Uber-Powerful Author Sword" as I call it so far) to get things back in order.

But I really try to only accept 32-bit people, Concerto (the mIRC person in BNG) gave me 16-bit Bass. I may have to switch to 16-bit if I'm forced to. I can't do 16-bit AND 32-bit sprites. I dont have a 16-bit Xero recolor however so I acnt do that. I guess I'll have to ask him to try to make 32-bit Bass, otherwise I'll have to create both a 32-bit Guest Week and 16-bit Guest Week (3 weeks apart from each other), 32-bit running in about 13 days (Yeah I do update on mondays but My birthday is on that monday so there'll be a funny birthday sprite comic for me that day so I'll start on Wednesday and do a Saturday update if possible, then continue the original story for about 2-3 weeks then do 16-bit Guest Week).

Do I need to do 2 Guest Weeks? I really dont' want to disappoint people who want to be in the Guest Week. Oh yeah BTW On Guest Week I'll have comics for Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so for that 32-bit Week I'll do W-T-F-S-S for that guest week (which means I better get cracking on the birthday comic tomorrow night) so you shuold get the sprite recolor and name to me before next weekend.

Anyone want a sneak peek on what comics I might be making for next week? Tell me or IM me (SaturosFighter) (My email is on my comic page) and I might email you 1 or 2 of them. If you're lucky you MIGHT get all 3 but if you don't want to spoil the surprises then you can wait.

Well, Cucco, it was mostly aimed at Talon and Sakura, and it was about my comic's guest week so its worth reading if you want to be in my comic's Guest Week. I just found myself typing away at stuff on my last post and figured out I typed almost as much as Shadic did.

But you said that more than once. I've seen a topic with one of your posts saying what you said in THIS topic. You can put that in your signature, so you don't have to up your post count by just telling us that in a topic that has very long posts.

The sprite sheet looks good, Sakura. No worries that it's 32-bit, I know I kept it at 32-bit until the last minute (yesterday), but its okay, I'll add on a side note that all but one person sent in 16-bit. Mostly, Mega Man Zero sprites do look a bit 16-bit-ish when viewed at the right point, and I can probably make that happen without it looking bad. Either way it's no problem. I just hope that the girl that runs the site that hosts my comic doesn't think that she wasted her time doing my 16-bit Xero recolor, so I'll use the 16-bit. Right now I have 3 people in it, so now I can make the Guest Week. There's enough to start, I don't think I can add 1 more. On a side note, I will either make a comic where they and the author (me, "Xero" in the comic) will talk and make a punchline, or 2-3 of the characters will talk. Since it's a 5-day thing there's tons of possibilities.


On a third note, I failed my US History test thing (It sucks to come back to public school after being homeschooled, you have to take tests to get the high school credits and now I have to take this course over. Tests I have left to try to complete are Physical Science, World History and Geometry. Yep, I'm gonna have some trouble. I might have to skip a day of updating after Guest Week (thankfully its on the week my play runs, so I can get the comics in to the girl that hosts my comic before it begins on next Thursday))

I'm working on sprite comics...I'll probaly base thyem around BnG and use the color coded speach bubbles like Talon does. I'd like if anyone has sprite sheets then want to send in and maybe a bit about your character so I know how they act. I'll probaly post them at FFQ if I can contact the guy if not then I'll just post them on my site.
