Well, I just thought it might be a good idea to have a thread where people could come together and make up times to go to Sakura's chat room together. It just gets annoying being in the chat room and no one is there.

So heres the site where it's at for people who don't know.

Well, it seems like some people are going to be on the chat for most nights around 9pm EST time (6pm PST) so if any of ya want to chat outside your schedualed times with other people, I will at least be on then.

I won't be in the chat on Friday and Saturday. Because I'm gonna be at my dad's house then. And Java doesn't work there. So, Moonbeam, any chance you might get AIM?

It depends on what my schedual is. Today I can't get on at 3-6pm PST because I have jazz dance. I will be on at 8 pm PST tell whenever, so if anyone wants to be on that late....:)

I would like to note something:

-You now need a microsoft password!

It would be so much easier if we had an AIM chatroom. Dusty made a small one for us last night and 4 people were on: Me, him, Shadic and 1UP. And one other person we didn't know came on. But it's a start. If we all got AIM, it'd be easier to get on a chatroom. I just don't want to have to go through all the MSN stuff to get to Sakura's chat. No offense meant at all, Sakura. I just like AIM chats 100% better. Why? Well, I couldn't disable the sounds in the last chatroom, and I have AIM set where no sounds will be set, plus you can copy paste in AIM, I don't like MSN Messenger, and AIM is what I've trusted for the past 4 years.

Can't we all just get AIM and use an AIM chatroom? You won't need to register it or anything.

A Fatal Exception B0 has occurred in some darn VXD or another. This is probably because you said something that was hurtful to Windows' feelings. So the current application, or some other application, or the whole OS, will be terminated.

* You can try going back to Windows and getting on with life, but who are we kidding, that never works.
* Or you can reboot, whereupon Windows will be rude to you because you didn't shut down properly, which you of course couldn't do.

Either way, you'll probably end up seeing this screen again.

Or even better, why not just IRC? It's nice to just click on a link and choose a channel.

(By the way, if anyone's wondering why I haven't been in the chat room yet, it's 'cuz really I'm busy...)

Actually yeah that would be true, considering that IRC is easier to get on than having to make a name and all that tedious stuff on AIM. Although IRC is a bit harder to understand at times, like all the commands and stuff. However, I have a place we could all meet, if at around 10 PM EST tonight. Grab mIRC from www.mirc.com (version 6.14 I think is the newest) and connect to "irc.zirc.org" Either way, when you're connecting, there should be a drop down list of the servers, and one of them should say "ZiRC: Random Server" or something. That's the server you want to go to. After connecting with a name, go to #linkandfriends . If a pop up menu doesn't come up asking you which room to go (which you would type #linkandfriends to enter it) then just type /join #linkandfriends at the server window. Then maximize the channel window and you should see me there as "Xero".

Oh yes, I'd like to add something. When you get mIRC, it says you have a 30-day trial. You can just ignore it and press "Continue." When the trial runs out, you'll still be able to use mIRC without registering. :)

Anyway, here are some stuff from mIRC (I don't know all of them).

Let's say you want to put something like:

Moonbeam is posting at LAF.

If you want it to say that without having it look like this:

<Moonbeam> Moonbeam is posting at LAF.

You will have to put this command replacing the name, like this:

/me is posting at LAF.

And then it will look like this when you press "Enter":

* Moonbeam is posting at LAF.

If you need to register your nickname to prevent people from pretending to be you, you will need to enter this code:

/nickserv register <password> <e-mail>

If you registered and need to log in, use this code:

/nickserv indentify <password>
