Welcome to the LaF forum personwhoexists! I hope you find a lot of friends here. Most everyone is friendly. The popular place to go is the Sword Cafe, most everyone goes there at least once a day(as you can tell by the 40 pg's of it)Just read the first post and all will be explaned. Don't be afraid to post away, as we are all really nice here. Ok, I'm rambling at this point, so I'll quit.:):)

Personaly, I think you can go right ahead and post in any topic you want to add your opinion to, no matter what Dusty tells you. (Don't let him make you think hes a moderator, because hes not) If Dusty has a fit, I'll stand up for you.:)

He just tries to enforce things because no one else will. AND HERE THIS! If Dustminion don't even think about denying it you know someone else (one of us) would be doing the SAME EXACT THING!

Well, think about this...
When you see a post that has been dead for a while to the old people who have been here since August and such, and you want to add something to it, but can't because "OMG!! Reviving old posts are EVIL!!!" how does that make that good? I agree with Dusty on a couple of things, such as intros go in an introduction topic to save room and keep the forum in some sort of order. But going nuts because a new person (or old one for that matter) has never seen a certain thread before and wants to put her/his opinion on it is wrong. Theres nothing bad about reviving old threads as long as you have a point and reason to. It keeps the forum alive, and it really is a space saver because that person isn't makeing a whole new post on that subject. Also, Hex even said himself its ok for us to revive old threads so what gives anyone the right to yell at us for doing it? As for the trying to close topics and saying that they should be locked, if Hex and Charybdis wanted a topic locked, they will lock it themselves. Charybdis even said herself that you should just let a topic die naturally, not have someone say. "This topic is closed" Eventually all topics that arn't popular die out naturally. We don't need someone to clame "Topic closed".
