No you just have to be within the top 20 to be in it. So (I know this is mean but hey I'm evil) if you drop a rank and are not within the top 20 club then your out and the new person within the 20 ranks are in.

We can eat, play games, sleep, and most of all swim. I got an Olympic sieze swimming pool that no one was using and I spent a bunch of cash on new games and system. I got PS2, SNES, NES, Sega, Dreamcast, Arcade, N64, GCN, and Ataria. So feel free to use all the stuff and everything here is free if you in the top 20 club.

Looks like I'm in no danger of dropping ranks! (I actually am in danger of dropping rank, but I'm not in danger of dropping out of the club!) Anyways... Goes over to play Super Nintendo. "Drék you forgot to buy games!!!!" *Dan warps out, making a hole in the ceiling. He then warps back, causing another hole in the ceiling* "I found it!" Dan walks over to the Super Nintendo and inserts his favourite Super Nintendo game: Super Mario RPG!

P.S. Until Drék tells us which games he bought people will have to bring their own games.

Yeah! and half of these people are only in the top twenty because they made one long post and never came back again! And I don't even see sakura on that list! She posted! :( Why can't I post here? :( Now the topic can't be a top twenty club because people who aren't in the top twenty posted in it! Unless I missed sakura or someone on the list and in that case i'm dreadfully sorry and you can commence beating me with hard baseball bats.

Technically, it can still be a top ten only list, just because you guys posted here, it doesn't change anything, and if that was your plan to ruin it because you are'nt in the top 20 list, you failed. *Reverts to human form. Gets giant wreaking ball. hits hole in side of club. Calls construction company. Waits a couple months. Runs out to get some basketballs. Voila! A basketball court. Dan wheels basketball cart over to the 3-point line. He takes shot after shot making most of them. After about half an hour of shooting he yells to the rest of the people in the club, anyone for a game of 1-1?

Basketball all right but if it's Football(soccer) I doubt you could keep up!

*Drék has the ball and runs down the court dribbling normaly, Dan moves in and trys repeadtly to steal the ball but fails. Drék gets to the 3 point line on Dan's court and shoots...the ball flies and hits the back board but rebounds of into mid air above the net...it falls to the ground but before it does Drék jumps up into the air(not far and this is easy) grabs the ball, shoots and gets 2 points*

Dan get the ball at the end of his basket. He checks it to Drék, who checks it back to Dan. Dan dribbles up to the key, then moves to the right side of the key. He's in Lay-up range right now. He puts up the ball, Drék attempts the block. Dan quickly moves under Drék, and shoots, getting the lay-up and the foul. Dan goes to the line for one more shot. Dribble. Dribble. Dribble. Dan bounces the ball across the foul line. He takes his shot, executing it perfectly. The ball wastes no time in getting to the net as it falls flawlessly through the basket with a swish! Drék quickly get s the ball back and checks it to Dan, cursing his foolishness. Dan runs down the floor, meeting Drék at the opposing net. (Do you want to make this game a half court game instead? It doesn't make much sense to use the whole court when we only need half...) Drék feeling confident with his shot, takes a brick from the 3-point-line. Dan quickly boxes out Drék and runs down the floor, with Drék behind him. Dan takes the easy lay-up.

Yes let's make it half court instead also I will update every 2 days if I can, that way if people are out they have a chance to get back in our just 2 days in the club left!

Drék checks to Dan, Dan checks back to Drék. Drék moves in driblling, Dan steals the ball and runs up to the net. He jumps up to shoot but then as the ball flies inches away from Dan. Drék smashs the ball to the ground and then grabs in and dribbles down to half court. Turns and move to the net, Dan attempts to steal but fails. Drék stopps at the 3-point line knowing Dan's behind him. He shoots and gets it in. Dan checks to Drék and I do so back. Dan moves down to half cout and then back. Drék blocks him from progressing any further then infront of the 3-point line, then steals the ball and gets to half court and back. Dan goes to steal but to late the ball is already in the net for another 3-points.

That's 2 3 pointers ssssoooo....

Also guys and girls I bought a new bevarge machine and a milk shake machine. We have Dr.Pepsi(special mix), Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Root beer, water, Coffe, Cappicinuo, and Sprite.

Dan checks the ball to Drék and calmly hits a three pointer. Drék checks the ball to Dan and Dan gets down on defense. Drék attempt a drive, but Dan plants himself infront of Drék and draws the charging foul. Dan then checks the ball to Drék and Drék goes down on defense. Dan dribbles the ball, looking for the lane. Drék has him well guarded, but not well guarded enough... Dan preforms a drop step around Drék and gets the easy lay-up.

50 rupees on Drek

Hiyah Sabin, I havn't heard from you in....phhh a long time. There are many different Top 20s you could rank people for, I'm really surprised though that Dan here has achieved Rank One in Wolfenhex's Ranking System. I'm Rank One for most verbose, though that might not always be a good thing. If someone took the time to make a Top 20 of who gets their point across most often, you would definatly get Rank One. Oops, I'm talking like this is only directed at you, Sabin. But yah, I'm just saying...the only reason Dustminion and I are so low on the ranking system is because before Wolfenhex put in the new system, Dustminion and I had by far the most posts, thus putting us in ranks 1 and 2. But then because we had spammed so much (At each other too, which I now regret), we suddenly dropped 15 ranks. Then during the period of time up until now, new members have came, and with a fresh start have instantly gained good ranks through qualitive posts. Dan, Spujestu, The Zero, MadHatter, MartiniOlive and such are mainly the people, and some others just earned their way up. I suppose Dustminion and I are kind of role-models to show that if you spam, your rank will not be a good one. Then again, rank isn't everything! I mean, even though it's fun to have a high rank, it's not the end of the world if it's low, it's only for fun. Even after I got a lower rank, I still did shorter posts because I prefered to (Though I prefer to stay on page 1 of ranking and it's not happening), and I'm cool with that. You all get what I'm saying?

Nic eposting Talon and welcome to the Top 20 club. I guess this means that we now have about 40 members. Sweet this is really good but not everyone in the 20 ranks of both systems are posting here which is bad.

Thanks alot for betting on me and I'll do you proud and hopefully win you some money, but Moonbeam how do we know when the race is over for the ranks because it would go on forever. Is it until someone thats not a spiny or Buzzy Bettle becomes rank 1 or something simliar to that. If so I'd say this is a pretty good system.

By the way I just went out and bought something we might need. I got some new Bad Boy couches, arm chairs, tables, and of course a counter and cash registers.

This is also an excellent word to use in the place at which I had used 'verbose', particularly in the sense that such verbosity or garrulousness is most often contained within spam topics. I stand by my choice of words, but I do thank you for pointing out the alternative that could be used instead. I am sure that there are many people here that have expanded their vocabulary by way of your post, including myself.

Ah, old friend. Yes, I have decided to make my venerable presence felt once more. I try to post when I can, but it is difficult to keep up with posts like I once did. Back in the Olden Days, before ranks and titles, before the Member List, and even before there were Categories, I was able to stay on top of the forum, its posts, and the people who frequented the forum. On a good day, there might have been 20 or 30 posts. "Me" and I would often have posting wars, battling for the top spot on the "Top 3 Posters" list that used to be at the bottom of the Index page (now replaced by the ranking system).

And yes, the "Me" to which I refer is the same "Me!" that is currently here. In fact, I preceded him in joining the Link & Friends forum. This was a time before we had the ability to change our Handle. I was known as "Bryan" (my real name, though I prefer to be called Sabin here). I didn't post under that name, because it was before the forum really got going. I re-joined because I didn't care too much to use my real name in the Forum, and it didn't go very well with my Avatar (who is, obviously, Sabin of FF III fame). For proof (just in case anyone wants it), I will post as Bryan following this post. Since I don't care about Bryan's rank, don't expect a very high-quality post.

Back to my story, though. Since those days, the LAF Forum has grown incredibly. It has evolved into an exceptional phenomenon; a home for game fanatics and comic fans alike to meet and chat about their respective obsessions (or just babble on about nothing.. which happened a lot.. and still does).

As great as this development is, it has caused ol' Sabin to be unable to keep up with the Forum as he would otherwise like. However, as a loyal denizen, I find myself compelled to join in the fun once in a great while, particularly if I have something worthwhile to say, or if I'm just that bored.

I try to stand now as a symbol of the Forum Elders, the people who were here from the beginning, and saw the Forum and the Comic through to where it is today, and to where it will continue to go as time goes on.

Talon, you and Dustminion do stand as symbols yourselves. Not just of spamming ability and the consequence of rank that accompanies that activity, but as icons of loyalty and activity in the Forum. You are (as of this post) the only two members that have posted more than 1000 times. That shows a great deal of dedication (and perhaps just a bit of spamminess). Also, topping the Verbosity Top 20 Charts gives you both the distinction of idolic status in the realm of activity. Despite your respective ranks, you help make the Forum go 'round. That is no small achievement, and should not be unrecognized.

And think about it... Wolfenhex made a topic just for you! Spam! Sabin has no topic, though. I'm not disappointed, because I don't know if I could handle the pressure. LOL.

As for the newer members that have achieved high ranks by being aware of the ranking system before posting, I have nothing against them (most of them, anyhow). Good posts are good posts. I just hope that their desire to have a high ranking does not inhibit their desire to post a reply to a topic about which they have an opinion, but are unable to speak extensively about it. I went through such a phase, albeit a brief one. Yes, ranks are fun, and at times can be intellectually challenging to maintain. But to anyone who actually posts something worthwhile and is able to do so with a high degree of post quality, you deserve the rank you have earned.

Talon, I hope to have many more conversations with you in the future. It is just a matter of Sabin seeing the post in a timely enough manner to reply without sacrificing continuity. Until them, old friend: keep posting!

To Wolfenhex: I meant every word I said about the exceptional nature of the Forum that you've coded. You have poured more into the development of the Forum and the website as a whole than many comic authors put into their comics. For that, I applaud you and thank you. A job very well done!
