I do think it is true. We only had an estimated 27 posts last week. And it may not be our fault, the forum quake has ruined our day to day posting-ness because it takes us awhile to get back on our feet.
Maybe we are to busy with our lives at the moment to have time to post.
Or maybe we are slowly losing interest in Link and Friends.Slowly and unknowingly...
Perhaps some are fustrated by the latest forum quake, possibly the biggest of all our time. And, hopefully the last.
Maybe we just stoped having fun,it started being boring.
I just hope the newer people could have as much fun here as we did and(hopefully) will again. If not, then I'm sorry new people that you were deprived of the fun LaF could be.
Whatever the reason,I feel we have entered the Dark Ages of LaF.
I'm stuck in a world that does not exist
There are people, but they are not real
They speak for hours, yet don't say a word
Their lives are right here yet they have no life
They're isolated,yet connected to all
We're always in this place, but not really there at all
All we see is a blinding light, we never hear a call
What am I to do
When I'm stuck in a world that does not exist
Left with a pain that is all but bliss.

It is true. I haven't been as active as much because of this forumquake. All my high-quality posts are gone, and I'm a cheep cheep again! :( Looks like I'll never get away from this rank (unless I try really really hard).

I mean, seriously, what is the point of these forumquakes? Are they here to piss us off? Is it a forum side-effect? Only Wolfenhex and Charybdis know (I think), and I will IM them asking them why these forumquakes occur.

I'm going to revive my Spam E-mail topic.

EDIT: Heheh. LLS has 666 posts. :P In case you didn't know, 666 is the mark of the beast. On the 6th month, on the 6th day, on the 6th minute, the beast will rise and bring end to the world, or at least how Drék explained it.
{insert witty sig here}

I think they are happen when people come too much. No that would only explain the first one.. Maybe they occur when the spam level is high or something.
About the 666 thing: Well, that's interesting enough but I rather have my old posts back too!I'd probably have 700 or 800 right now. I can't even remember what it was...
I was reading the whole Sword Cafe topic right now, back when we posted more often. It seems empty in places so your can really tell where the forum quakes occured.

That is true, but at least the roof is okay!

*Roof falls on Dan's head*

"But you're in another category!"

*Dan fixes roof anyways.*

Yeah. I think I have a theory about the forum-quakes. Everytime Cat posts a thread about Monty Python, the forum crashes. Maybe it was just a mere coincidence, but whatever it was, it was really annoying! I like Monty Python! It also seems that with each forum-quake, a part of the LaF community seems to leave. The first forum-quake is the only exception to this. At the sceond forum-quake, Talon decided to reduce his posting. (Maybe this was just a side-effect of moving) This time seems to be much worse though. Many forum members have left altogether and others (like myself) are now going to be only posting infrequently. Ah well, the site was getting boring anyways!

I will now try and guess where some people live!

Link's Lost Sword: I believe that you live in Arizona

Sakura: I believe that you live in Quebec

P.S. I also see that it appears as though Dustminion is one of the only people (aside from me) who puts a "é" in Drék's name! It isn't hard! ALT+130! I learned that in French Class!

Cool! I'm right! Well, It actually leads back to another post somewhere in the site. I'll try to find the link. It was about your Christmas holidays and you had a timeline and you mentioned driving to Mesa. Having gone to Arizona for a summer vacation, I know a bit about the geography of the state, thus I know that Mesa is one of the larger suburbs in Arizona. And because the timeline clearly suggested that there was no driving distance for the christmas party, I assumed that you must also live somewhere in Arizona, as Phoenix/Mesa is fairly close to the centre of Arizona. I personally like the Sedona area better, and also think that the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is much better than the South Rim. It's cheaper and not commercialized (Like Niagara Falls!) Yeah... I like Arizona!

P.S. I will find that post!

P.P.S. I found it! http://www.linkandfriends.com/forum.cgi?message=1072467695&page=#1072467695
But it appears I was wrong about the no transport thing. There was transport, but 2 hours would not make a difference in transport. The Interstates go North/South in Arizona (Except the one to the east of Tucson...) and there is no way that you could go from Mesa to the border of Arizona in 2 hours. (Even if you were in a supervan!)

Well, I'm only on once a day anymore because school is really starting to get hard (finals are comming up in a month) and I'm working when I don't have school (and sometimes when I do :()
Since I work 10pm tell 6:30am I'm trying to make up sleep when I can, but I still come here once a day!!! I love this place and would hate to see it slip quietly into a Dark Age of depression where no one posts except for the people asking people to post. :( I will stay here tell the end, (like I said in a post before that got deleated via forum quake) and I just hope that we have some new people come and post and the old posters visit more.:)
Bow to the queen vampire of all!!! Wa ha ha!
